Fortunately, the experts at Volvo ofg Unionville are ready to tell you everything that you need to know about hybrid and electric Volvo models, which should make it easier to decide on the right car for you and your family.

MHEV (Mild Hybrid)

Volvo's mild hybrids bring smoothness and electric power to your drive. A 48V battery and an integrated starter generator support the combustion engine for reduced tailpipe emissions. No need for charging: every time you brake, the battery is fed with recovered braking energy. Starting from 2023 model year, the full line of Volvo vehicles are offering Mild Hybrid technology

PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid)

Less petrol, more purpose. In our Recharge plug-in hybrids, an electric motor and combustion engine team together for a choice of pure electric mode, power mode and hybrid mode, giving you total driving control and lower tailpipe emissions.

We have PHEV covering all 3 platforms from Sedans like S60 Recharge, and S90 Recharge, Wagon like V60 Recharge to SUVs like XC60 Recharge and the XC90 Recharge in Canada.

BEV (Pure Electric)

Sometimes quiet is the most powerful way to go, with zero tailpipe emissions and less noise at all speeds. Powered by a high-voltage battery and dual electric motors, our XC40 Recharge pure electric and C40 Recharge pure electric are pure progress for the road ahead.
